This story is about how we, humans harm animals and endanger them. I have many more to share with you all. Get ready for the storytime!
It was a hot summer day. Very hot. All the TG members were tired of playing and were just chilling in the AC hall when someone cried “Ayyappa”. We all noticed that the voice was of a tiger, a Royal Bengal tiger!
We all got up and went into the camper van (Our TG van is like that of Puspaka Vimana of Kubera. Which can accommodate any number of folks and can fly in the air, sail in water as well as ride on the road) to turn on the worldwide camera. We saw that a stout man was in front of a dead tiger in the Bandipur forest in Karnataka, India and was in the act of cutting its nails. The man looked quite familiar, but we were not very sure who he was.
So, we set out immediately to Bandipur forest in our camper van where we could find the dead tiger without claws. “Look” I shouted, playing the video footage and now we knew who the culprit was. It was Gourmand, the chef who makes dishes out of endangered animals. Now that made some sense at least and we went chasing for Gourmand. But he was nowhere to be found.
After a long search, at last, we found him sitting on a rock under a tree, fanning himself with a hand fan. Ganesh and Hanuman fired him with squishy mangos which made him run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run…….. and run.
Three of us, Myself, Hanuma and Ganesh, cornered him and thrashed him until he dropped the bag of tiger nails. Hanuma tied him upside down and hit him with his tail until he promised not to harm any animal again in his life.
After that, I took lead and carried the dead tiger along with its nails to the area where we parked our camper van.
I scratched a small tissue from the tiger’s body. Chanting some hymns, placed them in the fridge in the camper van. Soon, it turned into a beating heart and all required organs for the tiger. I operated on the tiger’s body and placed all the new organs.
Soon, chanting shristhi mantra, I touched the tiger, and it came back to life. Ever since it has been a member of our TG.
