This book by Rudyard Kipling is a fascinating story about a boy named Mowgli, who was found abandoned in the wild. He was brought up by a wolf family. This book describes his adventures in the wild and how he finally took revenge over the tiger, Share Khan, who killed his parents when he was an infant.
I love the way Mowgli breaks the walls of difficulties and learns the law of the Jungle. I like Bagheera’s stealthy way of hunting and the way he protects Mowgli throughout his advents.
Baloo – Mowgli’s teacher and a wise bear. I liked his affection towards Mowgli and the way he teaches the art of the Jungle. I liked all the others such as old kaa, haathi and other such fascinating characters who are part of Mowgli’s mischief and advent.
I hate the fact that Mowgli is an orphan and the two rascals of a tiger and jackal snooping into Mowgli’s personal stuff and always trying to kill him.
Overall, this book kept me fascinated turning its pages one after another till the end, at a single go.
I strongly recommend this book to all adventurous young children like me and encourage their spirit of adventure to go high.
I rate this book a five-star rating.
Thank you!
